How do I create my first event?
After signing up, go to your dashboard and click 'Create Organization'. Once you have an organization, you can create events, add ticket types, and start selling tickets.
How do ticket sales work?
EventWoo uses Stripe to process payments securely. When attendees purchase tickets, the payment goes through Stripe and you'll receive payouts directly to your bank account.
Can I have multiple ticket types for one event?
Yes! You can create multiple ticket types with different prices, quantities, and descriptions. For example, Early Bird, General Admission, and VIP tickets.
How does QR code scanning work?
Each ticket has a unique QR code. Use our mobile-friendly scanner (accessible by staff with scanner permissions) to validate tickets at the door. The system prevents duplicate scans.
Can I customize my event page?
Yes! You can customize your organization's branding including colors, logos, and themes. Pro plans also allow custom domains for a fully branded experience.
What are the different staff roles?
There are three main roles: Admin (full access to all settings), Event Manager (can create and manage events), and Ticket Scanner (can only scan tickets at events).
How do refunds work?
Refunds are processed through your Stripe dashboard. You can issue full or partial refunds directly from there, and the attendee will be notified.
Is there a mobile app?
EventWoo is a web-based platform optimized for mobile devices. Add it to your home screen for an app-like experience. The scanner works great on mobile browsers.
